Opening a school is something Justin had thought about for years, but he gave up on that idea until he landed in Beijing. Almost as soon as he got to China, there were parents begging him to open his own language center because of how much their kids loved him. So, he decided to open up his own private language school, Palm English Language Center. See the presentation here.

Immersive English Education

Palm English differed from other schools in the fact that children were immersed in an authentic English language environment from start to finish. However, what truly made Palm English different was that children wanted to come to English class. Between the fun curriculum, the teacher’s uncommon Mandarin proficiency, and quirky method of teaching, over 50 children signed up over the 2 year course of this small institution.

Seasonal Events & Camps.

Other than after school classes, Justin also offered full day long immersive Summer and Winter Camps where students would focus on themes such as Imagination & Creativity, or Traveling Abroad. These classes facilitated remarkable language progress while simultaneously engaging children to use their English in real-life situations as they learn it.

To truly stand out,

You need to create something you can truly can call your own.

unless you make it that way for your students.
